Jason Knutzon spent part of his youth playing golf in Eagle Grove, IA before qualifying for four NCAA Regionals and being named All-Big 12 for Iowa State. After a successful college golf career, Jason worked to earn a PGA tour card by battling on the Web.com Tour (now Korn Ferry Tour) and competing in Q School. After fighting to keep his pro card on the Nationwide Tour, Knutzon got his break on the international stage where he successfully qualified to earn his pro card and make over $2 million on the links. Playing on the Asian and European tours allowed him to travel the world, including places he had never heard of (be honest, do you know where Mauritius is?). Knutzon has competed professionally in Africa, Europe, Asia, and the United States since turning pro in 1999.
Highlights of Knutzon’s career include two wins on the Asian Tour and played in both the US Open and the Open Championship, in addition to holding the Fort Dodge Amateur tournament record at 14-under par. With almost two decades of professional golf under his belt, Jason Knutzon has just about seen it all and even has a few tips to help out Tim’s golf swing.
